Professor Gatrad OBE – founder of WASUP (World Against Single Use Plastic) would like to thank Angie Beasley, Director for the Miss England pageant for opening a few doors (below) for WASUP. All those named hereunder have been brilliant – thank you.

  1. Nearly 20 Miss England finalists are expounding the 4 principles of WASUP up and down the country. They have all become official ambassadors of their area for WASUP. The areas include; York, Bournemouth, London, Northampton and many more..
  2. Sue Stone from her foundation is donating 10% of all donations she receives to WASUP.
  3. Anushka Mukherjee from Plastfree – a sanitary pad company that makes biodegradable garments supports WASUP by supplying litter picks to the WASUP ambassadors.
  4. Richard Clarke from the Linda Clarke foundation (Women Empowerment) is awarding up to £500 recurrently every 6 months to one lucky winner who actively works hard to expound the principles of WASUP and has the most impact on the environment within their local community.
