WASUP Founder thanks Miss England

Professor Gatrad OBE – founder of WASUP (World Against Single Use Plastic) would like to thank Angie Beasley, Director for the Miss England pageant for opening a few doors (below) for WASUP. All those named hereunder have been brilliant – thank you.
- Nearly 20 Miss England finalists are expounding the 4 principles of WASUP up and down the country. They have all become official ambassadors of their area for WASUP. The areas include; York, Bournemouth, London, Northampton and many more..
- Sue Stone from her foundation is donating 10% of all donations she receives to WASUP.
- Anushka Mukherjee from Plastfree – a sanitary pad company that makes biodegradable garments supports WASUP by supplying litter picks to the WASUP ambassadors.
- Richard Clarke from the Linda Clarke foundation (Women Empowerment) is awarding up to £500 recurrently every 6 months to one lucky winner who actively works hard to expound the principles of WASUP and has the most impact on the environment within their local community.
